One answer in Obama's press conference on health care highlights an important rift in our society

There was one person called on last night by the President who wasn't on the list. It was the only unscripted question of the night. The only one he didn't have a canned answer for. He called out Steve Kroft's name and Steve Kaufman of The Cleveland Plain Dealer stood up instead.

White House Press Corps has a secret party on the 4th at the White House.

I guess it's nice to see a press corps that parties with the people it covers, but I wonder if it makes it harder to be objective when covering them. It's like Chris Mathews claiming that he'd do as much as he could to insure the success of this administration.

Chris Mathews pledges to help Obama

Well, any notion that the folks covering the election over at ABC were objective has flown out the window with Chris Mathew's pledge to help President Obama's Presidency as much as he can.

Selfish Baseball Agents and Players Trying to Avoid Obama's New Tax Hike!

They should be ashamed of themselves! They need to wait and not negotiate any contracts this year so they can pay the higher tax next year. How selfish of them! President Obama said we're all in this together and he made a point of calling out this kind of selfishness.

I am sooo happy Obama won!

Zimbabwe Opposition Reports "Massive Violence"

So, Mugabe doesn't want to relinquish control, and apparently won't without resorting to violence. I guess democracy only works if people are willing to be reasonable.

Woman killed in drug raid. Are police out of control?

On March 9th, police raided the house of a man named Anthony Terry. They were looking for drugs and found them. However, upon entering the house, they were immediately attacked by two pit bulls and ended up shooting 26 year-old Tarrika Wilson, killing her.

I Want To Know Obama's Religious Beliefs

I am what you would call a former crossover voter for Senator Obama. I'm on the fence right now, and I'll try to explain precisely why. Following the bickering in print and on the television about senator Obama's relationship with Dr. Wright is tiresome.
